🧾 Overview
The PTO Benefits page allows staffing companies to define Paid Time Off (PTO) policies at the company level. Once set up, these PTO policies can be assigned during employment start in JEM and will dictate how a candidate’s paid time off is calculated.
This ensures accurate PTO accruals and transparency for both admins and candidates.
✅ PTO setup is company-specific. Each company can have different PTO rules.

Navigate to:
🔹 Settings → Company Settings → Staffing Settings → 🟦 PTO Benefits
If no benefits are added, you'll see a neutral grey message:
“There are no PTO (Paid Time Off) benefits here. Please add PTO (Paid Time Off).”
Use the 🟦 Add Paid Time Off button on the top right to start.
📝 How to Add PTO Policy
Each PTO benefit includes the following fields:

👥 Where PTO is used
Once PTO policies are added, they appear in JEM (Start Employment pop-up) as an optional dropdown.
📍 Location in JEM:
Assignments Confirmed → Start Employment → PTO Policy Dropdown
👥 Visible to all users
🔄 List is dynamic – it may be empty if no policies are added
✅ When selected, PTO policy becomes part of the employment record
📊 PTO will be accrued and shown in the candidate dashboard
🧑💼 Candidate View: PTO Request
Once assigned to a candidate, PTO appears in their dashboard under the PTO (Paid Time Off) tab. They can track balance and request time off based on the assigned policy.
🔑 Key Points to Remember
PTO setup is only available to Workspace Admin and Ops Admin.
PTO dropdown is shown during Start Employment in JEM.
This field is optional, and the dropdown can be empty.
PTO will be calculated based on the policy assigned at the time of employment.
Candidates can view and request PTO from their dashboards
