Quality Control (QC) Overview

The Quality Control is available to SCUs to review, manage, and take action on candidate profiles that have been submitted for evaluation.

🧭 Why This Page Is Important

🎯 Acts as the first filter to maintain quality standards
📋 Allows early detection of errors, missing data, or duplicates
🔄 Centralizes QC actions (pass, fail, follow up, invite)
🛠️ Helps recruiters streamline workflow and prevent escalations later in the hiring journey


🗂️ Page Structure & Navigation

🔹 Tabs

The Quality Control screen is divided into three key tabs:

  • Received for QC – All new candidate submissions pending review

  • Failed QC – Candidates who did not pass quality review

  • Junk – Profiles marked as invalid, duplicates, or irrelevant

Each tab allows SCUs to quickly sort and manage candidates based on review stage.


👥 Candidate Teasers & Details

Each candidate card shows:

  • 🧑 Profile image or initials

  • 📧 Email and 📞 phone number

  • 📍 Location

  • ✅ QC Tags (e.g. Verified, High-Intent)

  • 🧩 Candidate teaser with Sections:

    • Screening

    • Address & ID

    • Work Status

    • Skills

    • Education

    • Employment

    • Preferences


🔍 Filters & Sorting Options

You can refine your QC list using:

📋 Filter Menu (⋮)

Access tags like:

  • Favourite

  • Contact Later

  • Do Not Disturb

  • Email Sent

  • Follow-Up

  • Message Sent

  • No Answer

  • Check Notes

📌 These quick tags make it easy to track candidate communication or review needs.

🔽 Sort Dropdown

You can sort candidates by:

  • Default

  • First Name (A–Z)

  • First Name (Z–A)

  • Last Name (A–Z)


➕ Add New Candidate

Click the Add New button to invite a candidate manually.

The form allows you to enter:

  • First Name & Last Name

  • Email

  • Phone Number (optional)

  • Comments (up to 300 characters)

✉️ Once submitted, an invite is sent directly to the candidate to begin their profile.


🎛️ 3-Dot Menu & Slide Panel

Each candidate card has a 3-dot menu (⋮) offering the following options:

  • 📄 Send Documents for eSign

  • 🛡️ Reinitiate Criminal Record Check (if applicable)

  • 🧾 Reinitiate OneID Check

  • QC Pass

  • QC Fail

  • 🏷️ Assign Tags or Statuses (e.g. Follow-Up, No Answer etc)

These tools give recruiters granular control and ensure nothing falls through the cracks during the screening process.


🧠 Notes & Tasks Panel

When you click “Check Notes” or view a candidate:

  • 🗒️ Notes Tab – Log recruiter insights or candidate feedback

  • 📌 Tasks Tab – Add reminders or follow-ups (e.g., schedule calls)

All activity is timestamped and linked to the recruiter for accountability.


💡 Tips & Best Practices

🧹 QC regularly to avoid backlog and slowdowns
📌 Use tags like “Follow-Up” or “Do Not Disturb” to manage attention
🗃️ Organize candidates using sort and filter tools
✉️ Add notes for internal visibility and collaboration
📤 Fail or mark junk early to keep data clean and high-quality
Use “Reinitiate Checks” to resolve incomplete records instead of rejecting strong candidates
