📍 This is useful when employees work irregular shifts or if system-calculated overtime doesn't align with your business rules.

✅ Steps to Override Overtime Rules

  1. Navigate to the Timesheets section
Go to your Staffing Workspace and click on the Timesheets tab.

  2. Select the desired week and filters
Use the date picker and filter options to choose the correct billing location, job order, and week.

  3. Locate the candidate
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the employee whose OT rules you want to override.

  4. Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) under the “Action” column for the candidate.

  5. Select "Override OT Rules"
A modal will open showing a breakdown of all the recorded work hours for the week.

✏️ Adjust Regular and Overtime Hours

Within the Override OT Rules window:

  • You'll see the total hours worked for each day.

  • Use the editable fields to:

    • Modify Regular Hours

    • Modify Overtime Hours

💡 Total hours = Regular + Overtime. Make sure the values reflect the actual hours worked.

💾 Save Changes

  1. After entering the adjustments, click Override to save.

  2. Or click Cancel to discard the changes.

The new hours will now reflect on the main timesheet under the total hours worked for that candidate.

🔐 Notes

  • Only users with the right permissions can perform this action.

  • Once overridden, the system will no longer apply default overtime calculations for that day/week.

  • Use this feature responsibly to ensure compliance with labor standards and internal policies.
