🌍 Overview

The Map View within Candidate Search offers a dynamic and location-focused interface. Instead of browsing candidates in a list or grid, this view displays candidates directly on a map, helping users assess workforce distribution, proximity to job sites, and take immediate actions.


🔍 Why this page is important

The map interface is essential for SCUs looking to:

  • Source candidates based on geographic proximity

  • Visually analyse candidate density and spread

  • Quickly assess candidate availability and JScore

  • Take real-time actions (e.g., initiate onboarding, send offers) without leaving the page


💡 How it helps

  • Zoom In/Out: Navigate the map to explore broader or more specific areas.

  • Clickable Pins: Click on clusters or individual markers to view candidate lists in that location.

  • Candidate Pop-Ups: Quickly access high-level information, including name, contact details, availability, and JScore.

  • Three-Dot Menu: Access a full menu of actions like onboarding, sending offers, viewing profiles, initiating checks, and more.

  • Commute Insights: Understand logistical feasibility with Commute options.

  • Favourites: Add candidates to your favourites with a simple click on the heart icon.

  • Assessment Labels: Visual indicators show assessment status (e.g., CRC, OneID), helping you prioritis`e action.


🧭 Key Page Elements

  • Map Panel: Shows pins based on candidate locations. Numbered markers indicate clusters. Click to expand.

  • Candidate Panel (Left Side): Displays candidate details dynamically as you explore the map.

  • Pagination: Navigate multiple pages of results with ease.

  • Candidate Actions (Three-dot menu):

    • Onboard Candidate

    • Send Documents to eSign

    • Initiate Criminal Record Check (CRC)

    • Initiate OneID Check

    • Commute

    • Apply/Offer/Attach

    • Forward Profile

    • Add Notes or Tasks


📌 Points to Remember

  • Candidate names are clickable, taking you directly to their 360 Profile.

  • If multiple resumes are uploaded, clicking “View Resume” will show a dropdown.

  • Assessment icons like CRC and OneID appear next to names if completed.

  • Colour-coded assessment indicators:

    • 🟢 Ideal Candidate

    • 🟠 Proceed with Caution

    • 🔴 Not Recommended

    • No Information

  • The map can be freely zoomed and navigated to search across any geography.

  • Use Advanced Search before switching to Map View for tailored results.

  • Zooming in helps surface individual candidates hidden in clusters.

  • Pin clusters will auto-expand on click, making navigation seamless.

  • Use the favourite icon to build a shortlist directly from the map.

  • Map View is ideal for planning job fairs, large-scale deployments, or proximity-based staffing.
