✅ Step-by-Step: Candidate Document Submission
📩 Step 1: Receive Onboarding Email
Once onboarding is initiated, the candidate receives an email titled:
“Action Required: Upload your onboarding documents”
This email includes:
A brief explanation of the request
A secure, personalized link to begin uploading documents
A note indicating this step is required to proceed with employment
The link opens the onboarding checklist and does not require login.
📌 The onboarding link remains valid for 21 days. Candidates can upload and update documents any number of times within that period.
📂 Step 2: Upload Required Documents
Clicking the link opens the Onboarding Checklist, grouped by document categories selected by the staffing company.
Examples include:
General: Government ID, SIN, Work Eligibility, Selfie Photo
Direct Deposit: Banking details
Background Check: Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check
Training & Education: WHMIS, Health & Safety, Certificates
Licenses & Certificates: Trade licenses, Forklift certification
References: Names and contact information
Healthcare: Immunization records, health tests
For each item:
Tap Upload to attach a photo or file
Some fields (like references) require form input rather than upload
Progress is visually tracked within the checklist.
🔐 Step 3: Verify with OTP
Before final submission, candidates are required to verify their identity:
Click Submit after completing document uploads
Enter the OTP code sent to both your email and mobile number
Confirm the code to proceed with submission
🛡️ This ensures the checklist is securely submitted by the right person.
✅ Step 4: Submit Checklist
Once verified:
The checklist is submitted to the staffing company
A confirmation screen will appear indicating success
Candidates can reopen the same email link later to upload any missing or updated items if needed.
