Tasks & Reminders

The Tasks & Reminders module helps you stay organized by allowing you to create, view, and manage upcoming tasks across the platform. You can associate tasks with candidates, jobs, or companies depending on where the task is being created.

πŸ“… Accessing Tasks & Reminders

You can open the Tasks & Reminders panel from multiple areas within the Jombone platform:

  1. Tasks & Reminders from the left-hand side navigation menu

  2. Candidate Search

  3. My Network

  4. Companies β†’ Job Orders

  5. Companies β†’ Job Orders β†’ Candidate Application or Employment

  6. Onboarding & Compliance

  7. PTO Management


πŸ“‚ Tasks & Reminders Overview

The Tasks & Reminders screen displays all of your tasks in a structured table format. Each row includes the following columns:

  • Task Title: The name of the task

  • Task Description: A short summary of the task

  • Due Date: The scheduled date and time the task is due

  • Associated With: The candidate or job the task is linked to (if applicable)

  • Created For: Shows the Task assignee

  • Priority: The priority level set for the task (Urgent, High, Medium, Low, None)

  • Status: The task's current status (e.g., Overdue, Open, Completed)

Hovering over any task row reveals quick action icons:

  • ⏰ Reminder Icon: Shows the selected reminder time (e.g., "15 minutes before") via tooltip

  • ✏️ Edit Icon: Modify task details

  • πŸ—‘οΈ Delete Icon: Remove the task

  • βœ”οΈ Complete Icon: Mark the task as completed


βž• Creating a New Task

You can create a task from two primary places:

  • From the Tasks & Reminders screen: Click the Create New button to open the task slide panel.

  • From other areas of the platform: Click the arrow icon (e.g., in Candidate Search or My Network tabs like Sign-Ups Complete) or task icon (e.g., in Invites Sent, Sign-Ups in Progress) to open the task slide panel.

Required Fields:

  • Title: Enter a name for your task

  • Description: Add details about the task (max. 500 characters)

  • Date & Time: Specify the due date and time for the task

  • Type: Choose how the task should be actioned (e.g., Email, Phone Call, etc.)

  • Reminder: Select when you'd like to be reminded (see reminder options below)

  • Priority: Choose how urgent the task is

  • Assignee: By default, the logged-in user creating the task is selected as the assignee, but you can assign it to any team member

  • Associated With (Optional): Link the task to a candidate or job as needed


⏰ Reminder Options

Choose when you want to be reminded before the task is due:

  • No Reminder

  • 15 min before

  • 30 min before

  • 45 min before

  • 1 hour before

Once set, a reminder icon ⏰ appears next to the task. Hovering over it displays a tooltip showing the selected reminder time.


⚠️ Priority Levels

Set the priority level to help manage and categorize your tasks:

  • Urgent

  • High

  • Medium

  • Low


πŸ•› Task Categories

Tasks are automatically sorted into categories to help you track progress:

  • Open Tasks: All tasks that are not yet completed or deleted

  • Due Today: Tasks with a due date of today

  • Overdue: Tasks that are past their due date/time

  • Due This Week: Tasks scheduled within the current week

  • Completed: Tasks that have been marked as done

  • Deleted: Tasks that have been removed


Tasks & Reminders ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Use them consistently to improve communication, accountability, and follow-through across your staffing operations.
